BWE Annual COLOR FUNd RUN Campaign

What is the BWE COLOR FUNd RUN campaign?

Every fall, the BWE PTA facilitates an annual fundraiser, inviting all families, grandparents, teachers, staff and community to donate directly to the school. The campaign culminates with all of BWE’s students and teachers participating in the COLOR FUNd RUN event.

MAXIMUM participation is the key to success. Every gift, regardless of size, makes an impact. All gifts are 100% tax-deductible.

What does my donation fund?

The PTA, on average, spends $125 per student in the form of educational- , technology- and community-enrichment programs, upgrades to the facilities, supplies not covered by CMS, and all school-wide events.

Some recent contributions to the school and its members include:

• Covered playground awning
• Outdoor classroom
• Literacy, math and science curriculum programs such as IXL
• Paideia curriculum and staff training
• New furniture for the media center

All money raised goes directly to BWE, and we need your help to make this campaign a success!

Want to get your student(s) involved in the fundraising effort?

All students at BWE get to participate in the COLOR FUNd RUN regardless of any fundraising efforts. However, to encourage maximum participation, we provide fun prizes throughout the campaign to students and classes who gain donations. For students interested in raising money for BWE, we provide a flyer they can share with friends, family, and neighbors to sponsor their participation in the Color FUNd Run.
